Refund Policy for Girish Mistry’s Shari Academy
of Professional Photography and Digital Imaging

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the payment of
course fees for all courses, workshops, and programs offered by Girish Mistry’s
Shari Academy of Professional Photography and Digital Imaging (referred to as
"we," "us," or "our").
1. General Policy Statement
All fees once paid to Girish Mistry’s Shari Academy of Professional
Photography and Digital Imaging are strictly non-refundable and non-
transferable.
By enrolling in any course, workshop, or program, or by submitting any payment
towards the fees, you (the "Student" or "Enrollee") acknowledge and agree to be
bound by this policy. This policy is in compliance with applicable laws in India.

2. Application and Enrollment Fees
 Application/Registration Fee: Any non-refundable application, registration,
or administrative fee paid to secure a place or process an application will not
be refunded under any circumstances.
 Course Fee: Once the full or partial course fee (including installment
payments) has been successfully paid, it will not be refunded, regardless of
whether the student attends any classes or completes the course.
3. Circumstances Where No Refund Will Be Issued
No refund will be provided, even in the following situations:
 Student Withdrawal: If the student decides to withdraw from the course
before, during, or after the commencement of the course for any personal
reason (including, but not limited to, change of mind, illness, relocation, or job
changes).
 Non-Attendance: If the student fails to attend classes, whether the non-
attendance is partial or total.
 Expulsion: If the student is expelled from the Institute due to disciplinary
action, violation of the Institute's code of conduct, or academic non-
compliance.
 Force Majeure: If the course or classes are disrupted or cancelled due to
events beyond the reasonable control of the Institute, such as natural
calamities, government directives, or unforeseen circumstances. (In such
cases, the Institute will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the classes or
offer an equivalent alternative.)

4. Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Institute
In the rare event that Girish Mistry’s Shari Academy of Professional
Photography and Digital Imaging cancels a course before its official
commencement date due to insufficient enrollment or unavoidable circumstances:
 The student will be offered the option to transfer the full fee paid to another
future batch of the same course or an equivalent course.
 If the student chooses not to transfer, the Institute may offer a full refund of
the course fee paid. The decision to offer a full refund remains solely at the
discretion of the Institute management.
If the Institute reschedules a course or workshop, the paid fees remain non-
refundable, and the student will automatically be enrolled in the rescheduled session.

6. Payment Processing Fees
Any bank charges, payment gateway fees, or transaction costs deducted during the
original payment process are non-refundable and will not be reimbursed by the
Institute.
